 
I'm very blessed and honored to be a part of the NetWorthUSA family. Shortly after coming aboard the Lord blessed me in a mighty way by sending Mr. Terry Comeaux to be my mentor as a part of the "Elite Mentorship Program"
Terry and I spoke over the phone on several occasions before coming out so we could get acquainted with each other and also cover some important groundwork. He wanted to make sure that I understood the Cash Flow Basics Modules that I purchased so that we could be most effective and efficient during the three days of hands on mentorship. Terry flew out and arrived on a Monday, we got started together bright and early the next morning. We got started at a title company where we met with my investment agent and her contractor. This was setup ahead of time, per Terry's suggestion. Together we went to inspect a probate property. I walked along side of Terry and observed as he demonstrated what he does best. He began to look for foundation issues, and pointed out to me what I need to start training my eyes to look for as well. He then started engaging in contractor in some pretty in-depth “contractor talk”, each time he would tell it to me in layman's terms so that I knew what was going on every step of the way. It was truly an enlightening experience for me as it let me see clearly the procedures involved in evaluating a distressed property.
On our way back to the title company I asked if Terry didn't mind swinging by the County Courthouse to locate Code Compliance properties. He said sure lets go. The sequence of events that transpired next would be the true highlight of the entire three days. We started out at the County Recorder 's Office where the clerk indicated that he did not even know what a Code Compliance Property was! He told us that he'd never heard of anything like that there, and if it was available they didn't keep it there. He sent us to the Courthouse where the clerk there told us the exact same thing. She then recommended we visit the Tax Assessor's Office. The clerk there gave us the same kind of response, indicating that in all her 20 years there she had never had anyone come and request these types of listings. She was very nice and recommended that we go back where we first started: at the County Recorder 's Office. Fortunately before leaving she gave us the name of the manager of the department, which would later prove to be extremely valuable. Our time had elapsed for the day and we had to make it back, but I was determined to find the listings before the three days were up.
The next two days were spent viewing properties that my Investor Real Estate Agent provided. Terry's insight and knowledge saved countless hours of trial and error in this process and resulted in pages of notes for future reference. On the last day, we sat and went over everything that we'd covered the two prior days. Terry truly displayed the utmost professionalism and kindness as he was very patient with my bevy of questions. Mind you, it's impossible to teach a person the entire Bible in three days, but you can point them in the right direction and I can honestly say that Terry did just that.
With just a few hours remaining, we returned to the County Recorder 's office and asked to speak with the manager that we were referred to the first day. I asked Terry if he would do the talking because I felt his expertise in the matter would go a long way. The manager came to the counter and we introduced ourselves to her. Terry began to tell her what we were looking for. She too also told us that she has never had anyone ask her for Code Compliance listings. She even went as far as to say that if we had come to her the first day, she would have sent us away also. God truly had a hand in the process.
She did an initial search on the computer at the window and couldn't find anything. The events that followed really blew us away. She invited us back in her office, which is off limits to the public, and began to do another search on her personal office computer. While she searched, she told us about her family life, up-coming vacations, etc. We sat with her nearly 45 minutes and after she finally found the listings, she took us step-by-step on how to access them. With God's blessings and not taking no for an answer, we not only got what we were looking for but also left having made some great contacts in the various county offices that I'll be visiting frequently in the future. This was the highlight of the three days. Out of the mouth of all those in the County Offices … "no one has ever asked for this before!" "OUR LORD IS TRUELY WORTHY OF ALL PRAISES!"
The Elite Mentorship Program has really brought to life what I had been learning from the NetWorthUSA core modules. I first have to give All the Honor, Glory, and Praise to my HEAVENLY FATHER through CHRIST JESUS who gave Richard the vision to start this company and then to Mr. Richard Pamplin himself for carrying forth that vision. Thanks to Paul Rodgers, my original mentor, my continual prayers and faith go out that Our LORD has already healed you my friend! Last but certainly not least, many thanks to Terry Comeaux. Thank you so much Terry for taking time away from your family and busy schedule to fly out here from Austin . Thank you for your patients and kindness in answering all my questions. You brought sense to what made very little sense at all. Most of all, thanks for being a true Brother-In-CHRIST, and sharing the Love that JESUS has commanded us towards one another.
